His grounded, down-to-earth point of view strikes a strong chord with audiences across America.
On Wednesday, May 14th, he’ll join fellow comedians Ron White, Ralphie May, Kathleen Madigan, James Gregory and Killer Beaz in “Friends of Tim: A Comedic Celebration of the Life of Tim Wilson.” The night of comedy will celebrate the life of Tim Wilson, a Nashville resident comedian who passed away on February 26th. Tim was well loved both by Nashville locals and fans across the country. All proceeds from the show will benefit the Tim Wilson Memorial Fund.
Billy stars in the CBS hit television series, Mike & Molly as Officer Mike Biggs. Before Mike & Molly, Gardell co-starred in the critically acclaimed television series Lucky. His other television credits include Yes Dear, Judging Amy, My Name is Earl, The Practice, Monk and Gary the Rat. He made his major motion picture debut alongside Anthony Quinn and Sylvester Stallone in Avenging Angelo, and had a memorable scene with Billy Bob Thornton in the Cohen Brother’s film Bad Santa. He also appeared in You, Me & Dupree, and Undrafted. He will appear next in the upcoming Clint Eastwood directed film, Jersey Boys. His comedy specials Billy Gardell: Halftime premiered on Comedy Central and Billy Gardell Presents Road Dogs premiered on Showtime.
Danny Bevins has been called many things: juvenile delinquent, soldier, flight attendant, patient, husband and lately "disturbingly hilarious". Though the term that best describes him is SMARTASS. His mouth has gotten him arrested, fined and fired from every job he's ever had, but for the last ten years it's propelled him to tour the world and perform on some of the most prestigious stages in comedy. The son of a Jesus freak and a Green Beret, Bevins straddles the line between temptation and authority. He's loud, audacious, opinionated, cocky, animated, charming, irreverent, sarcastic, facetious, ridiculous and dangerous. He is an AMERICAN SMARTASS!
